The American Gold Eagle is an official gold bullion coin of the United States and one of the most eagerly anticipated and collected coins in the world. The Gold American Eagle is immensely popular among collectors and investors alike. This Gold Eagle contains 1/10 oz of 0.999 pure gold.

The obverse side of the coin features a modern rendition of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' design used on U.S. twenty-dollar gold pieces from 1907 until 1933 of a full length figure of Lady Liberty carrying a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, with the sun's rays and the Capitol building in the background, and the word "LIBERTY" with the coin's date of issue.

The reverse side features Miley Busiek's design of a male eagle holding an olive branch and flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings, along with the denomination (5 DOLLARS) and the gold content (1/10 OZ FINE GOLD) of the coin. The inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM", and "IN GOD WE TRUST" are also present on the reverse.
