This 2014 Britannia coin is composed of 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse side of the coin has a mule error!

The coin's reverse depicts Britannia, the female personification of the British Isle, symbolizing strength and integrity. She stands poised for battle in her helmet, holding a trident in one hand, and an olive branch and shield (emblazoned with the Union Jack) in the other. A crenelated design echoing a fortified castle encircles the image. The rim is inscribed with the words "BRITANNIA 2014," "1 oz," and "999 FINE SILVER."

The obverse features her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s stately portrait. The following text is inscribed around the rim: "ELIZABETH II," "D G" (which is an abbreviation for Dei Gra, meaning “Queen by the Grace of God”), "REG FID DEF" (meaning “Queen Defender of the Faith”), and "2 POUNDS."
