The 2013 Gold Libertad coin contains 1 oz. of .999 fine gold, graded a Proof 69 by NGC, and it is 34.5 mm in diameter and 2.5 mm in thickness. A significant landmark in Mexico City the reverse side of the coin boasts the "Angel de Libertad" holding a chain in her left hand, and a laurel leaf in her right with Mexican volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl in the background. Displayed on the obverse side are ten historical Mexican Coat of Arms with an eagle in the center clutching a serpent and Estados Unidos Mexico inscribed on this beautiful must have coin.
