This fantastic 2011 1 oz $50 Gold American Eagle NGC MS 68 honors the 25th anniversary of the gold eagles that began in 1986. This coin comes graded by the well-known NGC as Mint State 68.

The obverse features Lady Liberty, a design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, with the Capitol building in the left background. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY" and the year of mintage.

The reverse displays a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her hatchlings. This symbolizes unity and traditional family values. Inscribed is the denomination and weight along with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
