2002 50 Yuan 1/10 oz Chinese Panda Coin Rare Key Date .999 Fine Gold

This is a great piece for coin or bullion collectors. The coin is a key date with low mintage, and has some tricks, as shown in the photos. The highly collectible Gold Panda series of coins began in 1982. Loved by the world over for its adorable panda illustrations, the Chinese Gold Panda is a big hit among investors and collectors because of its annual changing designs. The coin weighs 1/10 ounce and is struck in 0.999 pure gold. 

The reverse of the coin shows an image of a panda on top of bamboos. The weight (1/10 oz), and fineness (.999) are found above the panda. 

The obverse displays the Temple of Heaven with the year (2002). The Temple of Heaven is an ancient architectural masterpiece where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (about seven hundred years ago) came to perform worship to Heaven and pray for good harvests.
