This 1997 W/S Jackie Robinson Commemorative 4-coin Set will make an excellent addition to any collection. The set honors Jackie Robinson, the first African American baseball player.

The obverse of the silver coins shows Robinson stealing a home base, evocative of a 1955 World Series play in a contest between the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers. The reverse displays the 50th-anniversary logo of the Jackie Robinson Foundation along with the denomination.

The obverse of the gold coins features a right oblique view of Jackie. The reverse depicts a baseball in the center with the lettering "Legacy of Courage" as well as the denomination.
