This rare, unique and beautifully designed 1990 platinum 10 Yuan Panda is composed of 1/10 oz of .9995 fine platinum and graded by NGC as near-perfect Proof 69 Ultra Cameo.

The 1990 10 Yuan 1/10 oz. platinum Panda is the smallest of three fractional-sized Panda coins released in that year. It is the first 10 Yuan platinum Panda issued. Like the 1990 25 Yuan and 50 Yuan platinum coins, the 10 Yuan has its own year-specific unique design. These Pandas were originally offered either as single coins or as part of sets. One set contained a platinum, silver and gold Panda. The total mintage for this year is 4,500 but some of these were melted along with other Chinese platinum coins during the 1990s so the total actual mintage is under 4,500.
