1916 S $10 Gold Indian Head Eagle Coin NGC AU 58

This beautiful 1916 S $10 Gold Indian Head Eagle Coin NGC AU 58 is composed of 0.4838 troy oz of .900 fine gold. These Indian Head gold coins were minted between 1907 and 1933, and designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.

The obverse side depicts Lady Liberty left profile and wearing a Native American feathered war bonnet, while the reverse features a majestic bald eagle perched on a bundle of arrows and carrying an olive branch in one of its talons.
