The note features a portrait of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, on the obverse (front). The back displays a group of men looking up to one man on the left and Christopher Columbus's discovery of the New World on the right.
This particular note was issued by the New York Federal Reserve Bank and has been graded by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as VF 20, which stands for "Very Fine 20."
The note was designed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C., and features the signatures of W.G. McAdoo, the Secretary of the Treasury, and William P.G. Harding, the Governor of the Federal Reserve Board, at the time.
