1907 D $5 Gold Liberty Head Half Eagle Coin NGC MS 62

 

This $5 Gold Liberty Head Eagle Coin is graded by NGC as Mint State 62 and is now available at Bullion Exchanges. The coin will make an excellent historical piece for any collection.

The obverse side features Lady Liberty facing to the left, her loose curls cascading down her neck, and wearing a coronet with the word "LIBERTY" inscribed on it. 13 stars encircle her along with the year of mintage below her profile.

The reverse side displays a bald eagle, wings outstretched with a shield across its chest, carrying an olive branch and a bundle of arrows in each of its talons. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the denomination. Below the eagle is the mint mark "D" for the Denver Mint.
