This coin is from a year with a very low mintage! At one point the 1889 S Morgan Dollar was even considered the rarest Morgan dollar!

The Morgan Silver Dollar features Lady Liberty on the obverse, while on the reverse you will find a majestic and beautiful outstretched eagle.
