1882-CC Silver Morgan Dollar NGC MS 62 PL
This 1882-CC Silver Morgan Dollar was struck at Carson City Mint and graded as MS 62 by NGC. This coin has a proof-like finish, which makes it a subject of interest for many Morgan silver dollar collectors since they are much harder to collect than regular Morgans. Proof-like finish means that the coin has a near proof reflection, due to the use of the highly polished or new dies.
The obverse features a remake of Lady Liberty, wearing a diadem with her hair falling loosely around her neck. Inscriptions include "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "LIBERTY" on the crown, and the year of mintage.
The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the denomination.
