This beautiful 1882-CC Morgan Dollar comes graded by NGC as Mint State 62+ - Impaired or dull luster may be evident. Clusters of small marks may be present throughout with a few large marks or bag nicks in prime focal areas.
Morgan Dollars were primarily minted from 1878 through 1904, due to their popularity they were minted again in 1921. Each Morgan Silver Dollar contains .7734 troy ounces per coin. The coins were designed by British engraver George T. Morgan and were named after him. The obverse of the coin depicts a school teacher named Anna Willess Williams, as she poses as Lady Liberty for the new design of the coins. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle. It has a face value of $1.
