The year of the release of the coin is the year the  Morgan Dollar began minting. The famous and highly collectible Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 - 1904 and then again in 1921. Named after the United States Mint Assistant Engraver George T. Morgan, this beautifully designed Morgan Dollar Coin is graded by NGC as Mint State 61.
