These particular silver bars are hand-stamped with the “P” serial prefix to identify this bar as one of the few to be hand-poured. 

Although the 5th Edition bar appears to be cruder than earlier editions, this is only because these used cold casting molds that caused irregularities on the reverse and edges. This process did not affect the bar’s weight, and this silver bar is one of the few P Engelhard silver Hand Poured Bars. 

The front features the Engelhard logo along with the weight, purity, and a unique serial number with the rare “P” prefix for the serial number.
