About Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse Bank of Switzerland is an international financial company based in Zurich, Switzerland, and is revered as one of the most trusted bullion brands in the world. The company was founded by Alfred Escher in 1856 under the name Swiss Credit Institution. It’s first main activity was issuing loans for the railway industry. During the 1900s, the institution became more and more involved in retail banking. In the 1990s, the company acquired several industry companies like Winterthur Group, Swiss American Securities, Swiss Volksbank and Bank Leu. Over 2002, 2004 and 2006 the company restructured itself and managed to successfully survive the 2008 economic crises. Besides its financial activity, Credit Suisse also produces bullion products. Their Credit Suisse Gold Bullion Bars are very famous on the gold bar market, thanks to their clean designs and unique image incorporation. With a history of over 150 years of activity, Credit Suisse currently operates in more than 50 countries and is well-known for its high-quality financial services and precious metal bullion.
