U.S. Dollar vs Precious metals

US Dollar Index is trading lower today against the bucket of major currencies. Gold price decreased on Thursday, after dropping to the lowest level in nearly a week yesterday. The investors expect gold prices to trade even lower at the end of the week. Among other precious metals: silver price decreased, platinum and palladium prices are also trading lower.

U.S. stocks on Thursday opened lower S&P 500 2800.06 (-0.94%) and NASDAQ Index 7279.26 (-0.28%), Dow Jones Industrial Average 26067.36 (-0.18%).

Wall Street indexes are trading lower today, following passage of the tax bill that slices the corporate tax rate to 21 percent from 35 percent, starting this year. Most investors are waiting to see what companies would say about the tax bill impact during the fourth quarter earnings calls.
