The Market Review: In the precious metals world, after yesterday’s drastic drop from $1365.30 to $1347.90 around midday, the price of gold peaked holding around $1353.50 as of this writing. The prices of silver, platinum, and palladium are all slightly down this morning also. At the time of writing, here are the prices:

The U.S. stock market is trading higher based on positive GDP data released this morning. The U.S. Dollar Index is slightly higher today after U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin made the assertion that a stronger dollar is in the best interest of the United States. The U.S. Dollar Index is at 89.01.
Bitcoin is slightly down and trading around $11,036.
In politics, reports have come out that President Donald Trump tried to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller fired but was stopped by his legal team.
